UPCOMING EVENTS
Sunday Morning, April 1, at 8:25 a.m.: Gail will be a radio guest again on Common Ground, the public affairs program of WZLX, 100.7 FM Boston. She will be teaching for twenty minutes with host Kimberley Jaeger about creating, embracing and sustaining “Open Spaces.” They will teach that by extending your visions for success, and leaving set periods of “downtime” to ponder your dreams and integrate new thoughts and beliefs, you can establish new neural pathways in the brain for new possibilities to manifest.
The Second and Fourth Monday Evening of Every Month: Beginning in April, Gail will be the onsite life coach at the premiere
Maison Esthetique Christiane Bourque Spa
in Danvers, MA. She will be teaching tailored seminars based on the highly popular book and movie called “The Secret.”
Using the Law of Attraction, participants will be shown how to ASK, BELIEVE, and RECEIVE.
Gail will teach tools to help participants improve their careers, finances and relationships.
The first two seminars will be April 9 and April 23, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The cost is $30 per person, per seminar. Space is limited.

WHAT’S NEW
Gail was just featured in the recent issue of North Shore Magazine as a “love coach” helping clients clear any limiting beliefs about their love ability, and regain a new foundation of self-love so they can attract healthier relationships.
In the recently released book, Trust Your Gut, How the Power of Intuition Can Grow Your Business by Lynn A. Robinson, Gail shares her stories (pages 155 to 158) of the times she failed and then later succeeded once she learned to tune into her own inner wisdom. The author, who is also president of Intuitive Consulting, Inc., is one of the nation’s leading experts on intuition in business. In the book, she reveals how top business people work with their “inner CEO” to win big accounts, increase sales and resolve critical issues within their organizations. She teaches the reader, through examples and a superb line of questioning, how to access the valuable resource of intuition to make routinely successful decisions. I introduce this first newsletter of mine with an invitation for you to join me in taking a new look at the way you direct your life. I want to help you create career, financial and relationship success, along with positive lifestyle changes.
I begin by stating upfront: I am not your typical “life coach.” Those who have experienced my work have described me as “a belief detective.” By this, they refer to my ability to identity those subconscious beliefs which hold one back from achieving his or her goals and dreams. In fact, the work I am doing is on the cutting-edge of defining a new paradigm of performance coaching through BELIEF TRANSFORMATION--where significant and lasting positive change can occur, usually more rapidly than with other “talking” approaches.
It is my heartfelt desire to teach you about YOUR power, and how it can be blocked or manifested by beliefs which you are not necessarily aware that you even hold. Many of these beliefs, formed in the early years of life, often reside in the subconscious.
I intend to make our monthly journey together fun, as we delve below the surface a bit, and look within, to see which beliefs are holding you back and which ones serve you in creating and living the life of your dreams.
Having used belief-clearing tools in my private practice for four years—long before more recent scientific evidence began touting the power of belief transformation—I have witnessed numerous clients achieve breakthroughs they could not attain with other modalities. It is now known for example that by changing a belief, you can change your body chemistry. You can also create new neural pathways in the brain that allow for you to manifest more fulfilling life stories, eliminating familiar patterns that no longer serve you well.
My passion for this “belief work” started years ago when I found, despite my best efforts, that I kept repeating undesirable choices in my previous career. Therapy was great for insight, coaching helped me to take action steps forward, but there was still a missing piece.
It was only after researching and learning how to utilize tools for getting to the subconscious beliefs that had limited me in the past, that my life began shifting in the direction of my intentions.
I then started teaching others how to become their own belief detectives, and created within my practice a niche for transformation which is fun, challenging, highly collaborative and greatly satisfying.
To share my learning and the latest belief discoveries, I will send you a newsletter on the second Wednesday of each month. It will include one brief article that illustrates a point, along with a belief tip or question to ponder, which may help you to disarm your own internal saboteurs.
I welcome your feedback and thank you for giving me a few minutes of your time to share my enthusiasm about my work with you.
With gratitude,
Gail

Beneath “The Secret” | |
If you haven’t heard of “The Secret,” you soon will. It is both a movie, available for purchase as a DVD (though not showing in theaters), and a book.
The producer of the movie, along with those who teach the concepts contained within, recently appeared on Oprah. Earlier this month, Newsweek featured an extensive article about the book, critiquing it as light “self-help.”
Many of us who are coaches and conscious educators in a variety of venues have for years been learning, teaching or practicing The Law of Attraction highlighted in “The Secret.”
In simplest terms, the premise behind The Law of Attraction is that your thoughts create your reality. By intentionally setting forth positive thoughts about that which you desire - whether it be a great relationship or a material object – you can more likely manifest it. Similarly, if you attach negativity to a thought, you are more likely to reap that less desirable outcome as well.
To set an intention, “The Secret” suggests you do three things: ASK, BELIEVE and RECEIVE. In its right time - with the right focus, attention, feeling and then letting go of the outcome - the intention will appear.
I concur with the theory to a point. But as an expert in belief work, I know the challenge in transforming a negative belief into a positive one is deeper than simply willing a different outcome. Most of us know our conscious beliefs that hold us back. For example, we may believe we do not have enough skills for a new job or are scared to try to a new activity or relationship. Those beliefs can more easily be altered with our attention to redirect them in a positive direction.
Yet, it is the subconscious beliefs, the ones that live below our awareness, that often sabotage our best efforts to move forward or manifest something new. Finding those beliefs often takes the skill of a trained professional or at least an objective party to mirror back to you where you may be stuck. You can not do transformational belief work alone.
BELIEF TIP OF THE MONTH:
Ask yourself: How might your life look different if you felt worthy (deserving of career, financial, relationship and/or lifestyle success)?
Spend the next few weeks writing in a journal different answers that come forth.
Then, begin jotting down negative thoughts or the things that you say to yourself about why you cannot have the life you want. Underlying those thoughts are beliefs holding you back from achieving success.
COMING NEXT MONTH:
April’s feature article will be “Building the Foundation for practicing`The Secret’: Embracing the Six Core Beliefs of Healthy Self-Esteem.”
